Dorisco Mixture is the full-bodied English blend from James J. Fox, which has operated on Dublin's Grafton Street since 1881. The tin description presents the blend as a Perique-forward Virginia mixture, but it also contains a considerable share of Cyprian Latakia — the detail most discussed about it. The ribbon-cut leaf is built on matured Virginia's sweetness, Perique's plum-and-pepper spice, and Latakia's char.

On the smoke, char and spice balance each other, and the smoke is dense and full. Nicotine stays moderate; the real weight is on the flavor side.
