The Bankers

The Bankers is a house blend from the James Fox cigar and pipe shop on Grafton Street in Dublin. According to shop staff, the bulk of the blend is made up of Havana (Cuban) leaf, rounded out with a small amount of Latakia. It's ribbon cut; on opening the tin, an aroma reminiscent of a dried Cuban cigar comes through, lightly veiled by the Latakia.

The smoke isn't heavy; with its unflavored composition, it's aimed at smokers coming from cigar culture who look for similar earthy, leaf-forward flavors in a pipe. It carries no aromatic additive, and its strength and flavor sit at a moderate level. As the product is exclusive to the shop's own shelves, it reportedly has no wide distribution.
