Corsario

Corsario (also labeled Corsario Island on the tin) is an aromatic blend produced for John Aylesbury by Kopp Tobaccos. Its composition includes Virginia, African Burley, South American-origin Virginia, and twice-fermented black Cavendish. The casing is built on rum, vanilla, and a subtle apricot note; the maker describes the blend as full-bodied and balanced at a four-out-of-five intensity. The tobacco is sold in a 100-gram tin.

Its character is distinctly sweet and fruity; the black Cavendish share gives the smoke a creamy texture, while the Burley adds weight. Suited to smokers who enjoy flavored blends but aren't looking for something entirely light on nicotine. Given its high casing intensity, it isn't a good transition tobacco for a palate used to unflavored Virginia or English blends.
