Dark Fired Cherry is a cherry-cased blend combining Virginia, black Burley Cavendish, and dark-fired Kentucky leaf that has been through a Cavendish process. The brown-Cavendish treatment applied to the Kentucky leaf softens the harsh, rough edge of fire-curing, while the cherry casing is kept measured so it never turns sticky or overly sugary.
