The English Fragrant is a blend in which Ken Byron Ventures deliberately marries classic English blend structure with the Lakeland tradition. Its body contains Virginia, Oriental, Kentucky, Perique, and Latakia, over which fruit and floral extracts are applied. The maker describes the concept as an experiment in what would happen if a blender working in the London school turned toward Lakeland scenting.

The smoky, woody base of Latakia and Kentucky and the floral scenting are perceptible at the same time, while the Perique adds a spicy, tangy twist.
