Bellamy

Bellamy is one of six Danish-style aromatics in Hamburg-based Kohlhase & Kopp's Caribbean Blue line. The series' names are taken from pirates and pirate captains; the blend is offered in a 50-gram, sailor-illustrated tin. The leaf structure rests on the Virginia, Burley and black cavendish trio; Burley gives a cooling body, while cavendish provides a sugary base.

The top casing consists of melon, banana and orange extracts, giving a pronounced tropical fruit direction. Since nicotine load is measured, it suits smokers who love aromatics and prefer fruity casings over alcohol or vanilla tones. The ribbon cut is easy to pack directly; due to the cavendish proportion, a slow smoke is needed to keep the bowl dry.
