Rackham is one of the aromatics in Kohlhase & Kopp's Caribbean Blue line, released in a 50-gram, sailor-themed tin. The whole series is blended in Germany; the names are taken from pirates and pirate captains. The leaf structure rests on the Virginia, black cavendish and Burley trio.
The casing list is one of the series' most crowded: mango, passion fruit, strawberry, mirabelle plum and cherry are used together. As a result, the blend's fruity top tone is pronounced and the tobacco taste stays in the background. The coarse cut supports a slow burn. With a low nicotine load, it suits daytime smoking and smokers seeking an intensely fruity aromatic.
