Tabak-No. 13

Kontor-Tabak No. 13 is a dark Virginia flake in the Leipzig-based Tabak-Kontor's namesake series. Per the manufacturer's description, the blend is built by adding dark fired Kentucky and full-bodied Perique to selected Virginia leaves; the result is a spicy, long-lasting smoke that leans on old English tradition.

The pressed, sliced leaf burns slowly, suiting smokers accustomed to rubbing tobacco before packing. Nicotine load and flavor intensity are above medium; the plum-and-pepper-level spice from the Perique and Kentucky's smoky tone are aimed at those seeking natural, i.e. unflavored, tobacco.
