Tabak-No. 8 Ready Rubbed (RR)

Kontor-Tabak No. 8 Ready Rubbed is the same-numbered blend pressed and then rubbed out by hand. It's a natural mixture built on the pairing of Oriental tobacco and Virginia; it also contains Kentucky, Perique and a limited amount of Latakia.

Per the manufacturer, the ready-rubbed cut gives the tobacco a notable juiciness; since the leaf is pressed, the flavors meld more, and the burn is slower than a ribbon cut. The smoke is soft, medium-strength and spicy, with the body gathering somewhat by the end of the bowl. A presentation designed for smokers seeking a packing ease between flake and ribbon.
