125th Anniversary is the tobacco Lane Limited prepared for the 125th year of its founding, cited as the firm's first Virginia-perique blend. It's one of the select products through which this brand, known for aromatics, opens into the unflavored line.

The blend uses equal weights of red and light-colored Virginia leaves, with Virginia flake mixed in; Louisiana perique is added in a measured amount on top. Perique adds a spicy sharpness to Virginia's taste, which leans toward dried fruit and sweet hay. The cut varies between ribbon and coarse slice; the jar note brings forward sugar, raisins and fresh hay. Fullness runs from light to medium; suited to smokers who love Virginia blends without top casing and don't want a heavy perique dose.
