Gorgorath Curly Cut is an unflavored Virginia blend McClelland prepared in very small batches from a limited Virginia harvest selected by Barry Levin. Its name, like many other Levin blends, is taken from J. R. R. Tolkien's geography. The leaf, in a short, curled shag appearance, burns evenly and relatively fast.
Aimed at those seeking the tangy-sweet, grassy character of unflavored, matured Virginia. Production ended in the 1990s, and it's reportedly one of the hardest-to-find tins under the brand.
