Carolina Christmas is the limited holiday edition, re-blended each year, prepared for Low Country Pipe & Cigar in Little River. The 2024 edition consists of red Virginia cavendish, heirloom burley varieties, matured red and light Virginia, St. James Parish perique from Louisiana's 31 Farms, and oriental leaf from Katerini; the wide, irregular ribbon cut is at a moisture level ready to smoke straight from the tin.
The warm spice, sweet-wine impression, dark fruit and cocoa notes in the taste come not from casing but from the leaves' own character. Body and strength sit above medium; for smokers seeking an unflavored yet sweet and complex holiday blend.
