Amphora Special Reserve No.8

Amphora Special Reserve No.8 is the series' ready-rubbed member. Per the manufacturer's description, Virginia, burley and cavendish leaves from three continents are blended; the post-pressing rubbed-out structure keeps both the density of pressed tobaccos and the easy packability of a loose cut. The brand is Dutch-rooted, produced in Denmark.

Though it comes from the same leaf family as No.2, the ready-rubbed preparation makes the smoke a bit more compact and slower. Virginia's sweetness and burley's earthy body lead, with cavendish adding a softening layer. Casing is at a level that won't leave a pronounced perfume. Suited to smokers curious about the character of pressed tobaccos but who don't want to bother slicing flakes.
