Brigg Honigmelone

Honigmelone, the honeydew-melon-flavored member of the Brigg line, was launched in 2008. Born under German manufacturer Planta, the line has been produced in Denmark since the brand moved to Mac Baren; the package name has been shortened to "Brigg H" due to EU regulations. The blend is made by traditionally processing Virginia leaves ranging from yellow to golden brown, cutting them in a long fiber, and completing with twice-fermented black cavendish.

Its body is medium. The casing brings out the melon's cool, juicy side; beneath it, the Virginia leaf's own tobacco sweetness can be sensed. Its taste is soft, suited to any pipe size. Aimed at smokers seeking a fresh, fruit-noted, light blend rather than heavy syrupy aromatics.
