Dark Twist Loose Cut

Dark Twist is one of Mac Baren's products that continues the brand's old-fashioned handcraft. Selected Virginia leaves and the brand's signature cavendish are wrapped as a filling inside whole Virginia leaves; the resulting twist is cut into rounds and packed by hand. The loose cut presentation is this same twisted tobacco prepared as a loose cut rather than rounds, which makes packing easier.

The density from the rope structure carries through to the taste: the dark, tangy sweetness of the Virginia and the depth of the cavendish stand out, with reportedly a light liqueur-like accent on top. Nicotine sits in the medium range and it burns slowly. Suited to smokers curious about the character of twist tobaccos but who don't want to bother slicing rounds.
