Dark Twist Roll Cake

Dark Twist is a roll cake made using the old-fashioned twisting technique. Selected Virginia tobaccos and Mac Baren's signature cavendish are placed inside whole Virginia leaves and twisted together; the resulting rope is sliced into rounds and packed by hand.

The dark-colored rounds are crumbled before filling and give a rich, sweetish taste; the cavendish sweetness in the blend balances the tanginess of the Virginia. It sits above medium in nicotine and flavor, so it should be smoked at a slow pace.
