HH Highland Blend

HH Highland Blend departs from the HH line's unflavored approach, pairing a latakia-containing blend with Scotch whisky. It contains fully matured Virginias, ready-rubbed burleys, latakia and a small amount of fire-cured cavendish; a thirty-year-old Glenfarclas single malt whisky is reportedly added to the blend.

The tin note leads with a smoky, sweet meeting: latakia's smoky scent is topped by whisky's sugary, lightly sour tone. In the smoke, latakia's woody smoke and Virginia sweetness move along a medium-bodied base, with the whisky note appearing at the finish. Suited to those who love latakia blends but want a smoke softened by a sweet top note rather than a fully dry English mixture. Moisture is at a level ready to smoke directly.
