HH Vintage Latakia

HH Vintage Latakia belongs to the HH line Mac Baren launched in 2006. The series' shared principle is minimal casing on the tobacco and no applied top flavor. Per the manufacturer's description, the blend rests mainly on Virginia and burley, to which oriental leaves and latakia are added, yielding a loose-cut English-style mixture.

Latakia's woody, smoky, leather-like line defines the blend; Virginia underneath gives measured sweetness, burley provides body and dryness, and oriental leaf draws a spicy edge. Because it's unflavored, the taste comes directly from the leaves themselves and intensifies as the smoke progresses. It sits in the medium band for nicotine.
