Symphony

Symphony is one of Mac Baren's classic-series products, a mixture dominated by select Burley leaves. These are joined in a smaller proportion by golden Virginia and the maker's own Cavendish. The blend is pressed using the traditional Cavendish method, sliced, and then packaged rubbed out ready to pack.

The aim is to bring forward the mild sweetness and cocoa association naturally present in Burley; the flavoring is kept at a level that supports this trace, not made dominant as in aromatics. The smoke is cool and even, and thanks to the ready-rubbed structure, packing is easy. A suitable middle stop for those seeking a nutty, earthy, chocolate-leaning taste and smokers wanting to move from aromatics to natural leaf taste.
