Aurora is a straight Virginia blend in McClelland's Collector series. It was originally prepared for a pipe collectors' club; later printings dropped the club abbreviation from the label.

The blend uses bright yellow, red, and stoved black Virginia together, gathering a wide taste range of Virginia in the bowl rather than a single leaf class. It's fine ribbon cut, and the tin carries McClelland's characteristic tangy-fruity fermentation aroma.
