Blending Turkish

Blending Turkish is an unflavored Turkish tobacco McClelland sold only in bulk. As the name suggests, its main function is to serve as a component for smokers building their own blends; it's ribbon cut and carries no flavoring.

It has an oily, sweet character reminiscent of cigarette flavor; the spicy, exotic taste typical of Oriental tobacco is pronounced. Nicotine level runs above medium, so it suits slow smoking. Smoked on its own, it offers a uniform profile; the room note is sharp and lingers a long time indoors.
