British Woods

British Woods is a medium-to-full-bodied Oriental mixture in McClelland's Personal Reserve series. It's built with a heavy Latakia dose, topped with Macedonia-sourced Oriental leaves and matured sweet Virginias. It's ribbon cut, set to burn slow and cool.

In the smoke, the soot-and-wood-smoke line dominates; the Orientals' spicy curl and the Virginia's sweetness proceed beneath it, leaving, per records, a dark taste reminiscent of spiced dark chocolate. No flavoring is used. A blend aimed at smokers used to dark, Latakia-forward mixtures who seek a full-bodied, smoky profile. The maker closed in 2018, so the blend is no longer produced.
