Christmas Cheer 1997

Christmas Cheer 1997 is a tin in McClelland's annual Virginia series. Per its label, it's prepared with orange and red North Carolina flue-cured tobaccos selected from the 1991 harvest. The unflavored leaf is pressed and presented as broken flake.

Using orange and red leaves together gives a darker, breadier profile leaning toward dried fruit compared to years dominated by lemon-orange leaf alone. No flavoring, and nicotine is medium. Since the series is explicitly made for cellaring, it's expected to mature with age; suited to smokers seeking unflavored Virginia flake.
