Christmas Cheer 1998

Christmas Cheer 1998 is a member of McClelland's annual unflavored Virginia series. Per its label, it's prepared with mature, mottled leaves gathered in Virginia state's Old Belt region in 1995. The leaf is pressed and presented as broken flake.

Old Belt harvests are known for more intense sweetness and dried-fruit tones; since no flavoring is present in the blend, the taste comes entirely from the leaf's own sugars. Nicotine is medium. Like the whole series, it's produced to be stored for many years and suits smokers used to unflavored Virginia smoking.
