Christmas Cheer 2011

Christmas Cheer 2011 is the release prepared from the 2011 crop of McClelland's annual Virginia series. The method used in the series is kept the same each year: flue-cure-dried orange-red Virginia is matured pressed into cake, sliced, and tinned as broken flake.

No flavoring is used; in the smoke, the leaf's natural sweetness proceeds along with bready and faintly fruity tones. Nicotine dose is medium, and the tobacco burns evenly. That the release comes from a single crop is a distinguishing feature for smokers who collect the series year by year. Not reproduced since McClelland closed in 2018.
