Full Balkan Reserve is among the club blends McClelland produced for the Conclave of Richmond Pipe Smokers, and records indicate it was introduced in 1995. What sets the blend apart is its use of Syrian Latakia, which was growing harder to source at the time; this leaf gives a milder, creamier smoke than Cyprian Latakia. Virginia and Oriental tobaccos sit alongside the Latakia.
