Dominican Glory Maduro is the version of the blend built with dark maduro cigar leaf. Dominican-sourced maduro cigar leaves are balanced with matured red and stoved Virginias; after being pressed into cake form and aged, the mixture is sliced as flake.
In the smoke, a spicy-sweet opening continues into dark tones close to espresso and cocoa; the upper part of the bowl carries a mild, chocolate-like line. There's no added flavoring. Body and nicotine dose are high; the blend is aimed at smokers seeking maduro cigar taste in a pipe and runs heavy for beginners. The maker ceased operations in early 2018.
