Drama Reserve

Drama Reserve belongs to McClelland's Grand Orientals series, which spotlights single-region Orientals, and takes its name from Greece's Drama region. Alongside the Oriental leaf is matured Virginia; the cut is ribbon, presented in small 50-gram tins. No flavoring is used.

In the smoke, the dry, cigarette-like, spicy line typical of Orientals dominates, joined by a sweet-tart undertone from the brand's Virginias. Records indicate it leaves an oily trace reminiscent of olive oil on the palate. The tobacco burns easily and evenly without overheating; nicotine dose is medium and the ash stays light-colored. Suited to smokers wanting to hear the Oriental leaf in the lead role. The brand closed in 2018.
