Frog Morton Across the Pond is an English blend representing the darker, fuller-bodied wing of the series. Alongside the main-body Virginia and Latakia, Syrian-origin Latakia and Oriental leaf are added, layering a spicy, resinous coat over the smoky core. The ribbon cut lights easily, and the flavor line deepens from the first third through to the end of the bowl.
A structure designed for smokers seeking a heavier Latakia dose, accustomed to full-bodied English blends. The name comes from the series' storyline of a journey across to England. Discontinued when McClelland closed in 2018.
