Frog Morton on the Bayou is a blend built by adding Louisiana Perique to the series' Latakia-Oriental body, and given its high Oriental share, it lands on the Balkan line. The Perique raises the blend's nicotine load and spice output, layering a tangy note reminiscent of pepper, fig, and plum atop the Virginia's sweetness.
Named after the Louisiana bayous, the blend is among the fullest-bodied members of the series and is aimed at smokers used to the pairing of Latakia and Perique. Its ribbon cut burns quickly, suiting a heavy smoking pace. Production stopped after the brand closed in 2018.
