No. 2015 Virginia Perique Flake is a flake blend sliced from a dark, mature cake built by adding St. James-region Perique to orange and red Virginias. The Perique share is kept at a level that gives the smoke depth and a spiced edge without overpowering the Virginia's sweetness; the maker's description likens the blend to the Maritime flakes of the past.

Aimed at smokers who like the Virginia-Perique combination and are used to working with unflavored, pressed tobaccos. The slices need to be rubbed out or folded before packing; smoked slowly it burns cool. Discontinued when McClelland closed in 2018.
