Syrian Full Balkan

Syrian Full Balkan is from McClelland's line using Syrian Latakia. Per the maker's description, the blend's character is built by Syrian Latakia, known for its distinctive, non-harsh aroma; it's joined by Oriental tobaccos and Virginia leaf. It's noted to give a drier, more incense-like, less tarry smokiness than Cyprian Latakia.

The smoke is cool and flowing, with medium body. Though Latakia dominates, it doesn't overpower the blend; the Orientals' spicy notes and Virginia's sweetness can be read in the background. Suited to smokers wanting to get to know the Balkan style through Syrian Latakia. The blend was withdrawn from the market when Syrian Latakia supply was cut off and the brand closed in 2018.
