Vanilla Black Cavendish

Vanilla Black Cavendish is one of McClelland's simply structured aromatics sold in bulk. Its base is black Cavendish darkened by steam processing, topped with vanilla flavoring; the blend contains no heavy leaves like Latakia or Oriental. Discontinued when the company closed in 2018.

Nicotine load is low, the smoke is mild, and the burn is cool; the flavor consists largely of vanilla and Cavendish's sugary roundness, with the leaf character staying in the background. Suited to smokers new to the pipe and to those seeking a mild, sweet, distinctly scented aromatic.
