Virginia No. 24 (Matured Virginias)

Virginia No. 24 is part of McClelland's Matured Virginias series, a flake blend of matured Virginias topped with Drama-district Oriental leaf. It's unflavored — the sweetness comes from the leaf itself. The small flakes deliver their fullest flavor when packed by air-fluffing rather than rubbing out, though this packing method can make burn control tricky for less experienced smokers.

Smoked at a slow pace, a pure, sweet Virginia character comes through clearly. Nicotine is moderate and doesn't build toward the bottom of the bowl. Suited to smokers who want an unadulterated Virginia taste and are comfortable with flake tobaccos. McClelland closed in early 2018, so the blend is no longer produced.
