Virginia No. 25 (Matured Virginias)

Virginia No. 25 is one of McClelland's straight Virginia entries in the Matured Virginias series. It comes as a fine ribbon cut rather than a tin flake, with fairly high moisture, and carries the brand's familiar tangy aroma. The fine cut dries quickly when aired out, packs easily, and lights readily.

On the first few puffs the fine cut gives a cigarette-like impression; past the first third of the bowl, the sweet tobacco taste typical of matured Virginia settles in. Letting it go out after the first light and resting it a bit makes the flavor more settled on the relight. Full-bodied but light on nicotine, it suits those looking for an unflavored, mellow Virginia. Production ended in 2018.
