Brentor Whiskey

Brentor Whiskey is one of the house blends prepared for the Exeter-based McGahey The Tobacconist shop. It is a Virginia and cavendish leaf composition that appears entirely brown; the blend is given a malt-whisky-based flavoring. The manufacturer's description notes the blend is kept light and set so as not to bite the tongue.

The nicotine strength is low and the flavor level medium; the whisky note accompanies the tobacco's natural sugar without covering it. Suitable for those new to flavored blends and for those looking for a light aromatic they can smoke throughout the day. Records indicate the same blend has occasionally also been listed as Brentor Perique. McGahey has been operating as a tobacconist in Exeter since 1880; the shop on High Street closed in 2019, with sales continuing through the Topsham address.
