Black Cherry (Black C)

Black Cherry is an aromatic from the McLintock line German maker Kohlhase & Kopp established in the late 1960s; in some markets, due to restrictions on using the fruit's name on packaging, it is sold under the name Black C. Its base is black cavendish, joined by golden virginia in various cuts; black cherry, coffee, and whisky notes are applied as the top layer.

Thanks to the cavendish weight, the smoke is soft and moist, with the nicotine load measured; in the taste, alongside the cherry sweetness, coffee's roasted edge and whisky's light sharpness can be distinguished. Suitable for smokers drawn to fruity aromatics who favor the top-level flavoring over the tobacco character.
