Black Magic

Black Magic is one of the aromatic blends German maker Kohlhase & Kopp released under the McLintock brand. The mixture, built from Virginia, Burley, and black Cavendish leaves, is a mixed-cut tobacco; its flavoring is built in an herbal, sweetish direction rather than a fruity one. Nicotine load is light.

While the cavendish share softens the smoke and slows the burn, burley keeps the blend's body upright. An in-between construction appealing to smokers who avoid heavily sugared aromatics but don't want to move toward unflavored blends either. Product records indicate the blend has been discontinued, and its distribution in Germany was handled through Mac Baren Deutschland.
