Wild Cherry

Wild Cherry is one of the cherry-flavored aromatics in Kohlhase & Kopp's McLintock line. According to the seller's description, a ripe wild-cherry flavoring is added to a base of processed black Cavendish, oriental and Turkish leaf, and Virginia. The oriental share gives a lightly smoky, dry background rarely seen in aromatic blends.

Body is light to medium; what stands out is the intensity of the cherry flavoring. Aimed at smokers who enjoy fruity aromatics but want a construction that isn't purely Cavendish sweetness. It has a different flavoring construction from the Black Cherry blend in the same line and is sold under the name "Wild C." in some markets.
