"Our" London Dock

"Our" London Dock is one of the house blends from Milan Tobacconists in Roanoke, Virginia. It takes its name from, and is built in memory of, Middleton's London Dock blend, sold for many years before being discontinued. Its composition includes perique, Turkish tobacco, and burleys; a small amount of buttered-rum note is applied on top.

The burley base gives the blend a nutty, dry body, while perique adds a peppery spark and the oriental leaf a spicy edge; the rum casing isn't intense enough to count the blend as aromatic, and the maker has also placed it in the non-aromatic line. Suitable for those looking for a classic American-style, measuredly flavored blend.
