Rovada is a medium-strength, ribbon-cut blend built from five separate virginia tobaccos, with a small amount of latakia, perique, and toasted cavendish added on top. Here latakia isn't dominant; it functions as a casing that frames the virginia sweetness.

The blend's character is described as toasted and soft, more measured than heavily smoky English mixtures. Suitable for those expecting a light smoky layer from a virginia-based blend but wanting a low latakia load.
