Sultan's Blend

Sultan's Blend is one of the fullest among Milan Tobacconists' English-style house blends. According to the maker's profile, cube-cut and coarse-cut burley, Turkish leaf, light-colored Virginia ribbon, toasted cavendish, long-cut latakia, a touch of perique, and a small amount of black cavendish are all used together. The side-by-side different cuts give a mottled look in the jar and a layered, progressive taste in the smoke.

Because of its medium-to-full body and pronounced latakia share, it's geared toward smokers accustomed to smoky mixtures. Since the burley proportion raises the sense of nicotine, it's better suited to a filling evening pipe than to smoking on an empty stomach.
