Country Gentleman

Country Gentleman is the blend representing the more contemporary virginia-perique construction in Missouri Meerschaum's Russ Ouellette-signed line. Its composition includes light-colored and red virginias, joined by perique and a small amount of dark-fired Kentucky leaf for body. The blend takes its name from the company's corn cob pipe model of the same name.

The virginia base gives a natural, tangy sweetness, while perique adds its peppery, dried-fruit-leaning layer; kentucky leaves a subtle smokiness and weight in the background. Suitable for those looking for an unflavored, medium-bodied virginia-perique blend and wanting to try this style in bagged tobacco form.
