Independence Day 2015

Independence Day is Missouri Meerschaum's special-production series referencing the date July 4, 1776; the 2015 release was, according to records, limited to 1,776 tins. A virginia, burley, and black cavendish base has a very small amount of latakia added, topped with a light vanilla casing.

It is presented pressed into rubbable cake form. Because the latakia proportion is low, the blend doesn't count as an English mixture; it is described as a soft aromatic carrying a fine smoky layer at the edge of its sweet body.
