Plug No. 4

Plug No. 4 is the milder entry in the Motzek workshop's numbered plug series. Records indicate it consists of roughly 80 percent virginia and 20 percent black cavendish; it is released after resting for at least a year under vacuum. It is sold in block form and is sliced and rubbed out before smoking.

It carries no artificial flavoring; the taste rests on Virginia's own sweetness and the dark tones softened by the cavendish. It carries a more measured nicotine load than the line's other plugs, burns cool, and can be smoked for a long time without heating up the pipe. Suitable for those looking for a plain pressed tobacco to smoke throughout the day and for those new to the plug format.
