Virginia Cake

Virginia Cake is the straight virginia blend from the Kiel-based TAK workshop, presented in pressed block (cake) form. Mature virginia leaves' notes of dry hay, light citrus, and natural sugar lead; no flavoring is added to the blend, yet the leaf's own sweetness makes it seem soft. The block tobacco is cut with a knife into thin strips, chopped into cubes, and loaded with its top layer lightly rubbed.
