Erinmore Cube Cut

Erinmore is a series Belfast-based Murray, Sons & Co launched in the mid-twentieth century, known for a casing recipe kept secret. Cube Cut is the cube-cut version of that same family: the pressed cake is chopped into small cubes instead of thin strips. The leaf base is built from mature Virginia, soft Burley, and sweet dark air-cured tobaccos; the series' familiar fruity sauce is applied on top.

The cube cut burns slowly and concentrates the tobacco's sweetness; records note Cube Cut carries a more pronounced perfume and a stronger sense of nicotine than the other products in the series. It went out of production well before the Murray factory closed in 2005, and today it is found only in old tins. A blend suited to smokers looking for fruity, strongly scented aromatics who don't mind a lasting taste trace in the pipe.
