Yellow

Old Holborn Yellow is the yellow-pack version of the English-rooted Old Holborn line. It's prepared from golden Virginia leaf in a very fine shag cut; its moisture is high and its color dark. Compared to the line's better-known green-pack version, it's described as fuller in nicotine and more pronouncedly flavored, with a wine-like topping direction.

The fine cut and high moisture require careful packing and a slow pace in a pipe. Its taste is intense while its harshness on the throat stays measured relative to its nicotine level.
