Bull's Eye Flake

Bull's Eye Flake is a Virginia-perique press produced at Orlik's facilities in Denmark, also marketed under the Peter Stokkebye label. Matured Virginia leaves from different sources are blended with Louisiana perique, then pressed around an unessenced cavendish core; the finished block is sliced into coins. It takes its name from this ringed, target-like cross-section.

The cavendish core softens the sharpness between Virginia and perique; as perique's spice and Virginia's natural sweetness combine, the taste takes on a citrus-leaning direction. Body stays medium. It's an entry-level tobacco for those wanting to get to know the coin cut and the Virginia-perique family, calling for patient lighting and rubbing out the slices before packing.
