Yuletide (2015)

Yuletide is the name of the seasonal blend L.J. Peretti prepares in limited quantities every December; since the recipe changes each year, editions are not identical to one another. Records indicate the 2015 edition was built almost entirely on Virginia leaf, with a light plum note worked in on top.

This construction keeps Virginia's bready, lemony sweetness at the center; the plum flavoring is measured enough that it doesn't push the blend into the aromatic category. It suits smokers who love near-unflavored Virginia blends and want to age seasonal editions.
